Job summary

Carter’s Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Operations for its Stockbridge Distribution Center in Georgia. You will lead a multi-shift operation, drive a culture of engagement, and ensure execution of business plans while delivering customer satisfaction and cost efficiency.

Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, you will develop weekly and seasonal plans, manage relationships with channel partners, and lead continuous improvement initiatives in a highly automated distribution environment.

• Extensive knowledge of large multi-channel distribution centers and related technologies.
• Proven leadership abilities including coaching and team development.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Creative problem solving and process improvement mindset.
• Analytical skills with focus on efficiency and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations and drive engagement across leadership and staff.
• Translate business plans into shift strategy and operational plans.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze data, and drive productivity improvements.
• Maintain safety, quality, and customer service standards across the shift.
• Oversee budgeting, headcount planning, and inventory control.
