Job Title: Senior Operations Manager

Amentum is hiring a Senior Operations Manager to support the Field, Lab, and Air Integration / Experimentation / Modeling and Risk Reduction office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD, and other locations. The role involves providing services to the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), C5ISR Center, including programmatic/business management, engineering support, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition/support services, in coordination with Government project leads.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Manage and coordinate computer operations for efficient and accurate system performance.
2. Develop policies and procedures for computer operations.
3. Design systems capabilities aligned with organizational needs and budget constraints.
4. Meet with team members to discuss progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality standards.
5. Adjust staffing and priorities to meet workload demands.
6. Review logs and reports to identify issues.
7. Collaborate with vendors to resolve hardware/software problems.
8. Engage with users to assess service quality and needs.
9. Provide education and training for system users.
10. Consult with data processing managers on hardware/software changes.
11. Evaluate new software/hardware for compatibility and usefulness.
12. Assess data processing projects and hardware needs.
13. Develop and monitor budgets.
14. Coordinate activities of tape library and other operations.
15. Manage non-manufacturing operations, evaluate systems, and recommend improvements.
16. Apply extensive experience and judgment to achieve goals, with a degree of creativity and latitude.
17. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of additional experience in lieu of degree.
• 9 years of relevant experience.
• Active TOP SECRET/SCI US Government Clearance; US Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting C5ISR DEVCOM programs.
