Description

We are seeking Senior Operations Managers in Walton, KY!

We have 3 shifts available:

6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday

5pm-3:30am Monday-Thursday

6am-6:30pm Friday-Sunday

Summary: Manages multiple large-scale operations and all activities related to operations and development of company products, either personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Develops and maintains distribution center operations business plans, including all programs, P&L, and customer requirements.
• Provides input to the development of customer relationship strategies.
• Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budgets and cost controls, and gathers data on product types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates.
• Guides the development of distribution center process plans, including personnel, materials, safety, facilities, equipment, and customer-specific needs.
• Ensures all costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
• Coordinates processing activities with other organizational functions and suppliers to optimize production and resource utilization.
• Reviews production and operational reports and resolves operational and maintenance issues to minimize costs and delays.
• Handles administrative activities for effective warehouse management, including data compilation and reporting.
• Defines responsibilities for staff positions to meet business objectives.
• Trains staff and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manages six subordinate managers overseeing over 300 employees across departments such as Special Projects, Shipping and Receiving, Packing, Order Processing, Routing, Inventory and Auditing, and Customer Service. Responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units, including P&L, hiring, training, performance appraisal, and discipline.

Must Meet the Following Requirements:

• Availability for extended hours and off-shift work
• Strong operational leadership skills
• Understanding of operational financials
• Experience with warehouse layout and design
• Management of daily warehousing processes and flows
• Experience with time management and labor planning
• Knowledge of productivity improvement methodologies (Six Sigma/Lean)
• Experience with productivity reporting and dashboard management
• Managing special projects and time studies
• Managing GOH processes and business
• Managing flat pack and pick/pack processes
• Inventory management expertise
• Familiarity with RF, WMS, and general systems

Pay Range:

$95,000 - $110,000

*The stated pay range is an estimate and may be adjusted based on market conditions and other factors. The final salary will be discussed with the selected candidate in accordance with applicable laws.
