Operations/Supply Chain

We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and resourceful Senior Manager of Operations to join Centric Brands. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and team player who takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to contribute to our transformation journey.

The Senior Manager will oversee 3PL network partners on the East Coast to ensure they meet SLA objectives such as on-time shipping, fill rates, and quality standards, as reflected in chargeback ratios. The role requires regular site visits as directed by the VP of Distribution and Transportation.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage daily operations of the 3PL network to ensure alignment with company objectives.
   • Review Out of Range (OOR) reports and inventory records daily.
2. Ensure distribution centers (DCs) are resourced effectively to exceed KPIs.
   • Conduct monthly forecasting and performance reviews.
   • Review costs related to DC operations and freight monthly.
3. Identify opportunities within the supply chain to reduce costs and improve service.
4. Monitor outbound shipping requirements and freight.
   • Conduct quarterly business reviews with internal and external partners.
5. Collaborate effectively with peers and third-party partners to drive process improvements and cost reductions.
6. Apply knowledge of DC processes for problem resolution.
7. Ensure team objectives and service requirements are met.
8. Utilize SAP and Excel for reporting and analysis.
9. Proactively identify risks and address potential issues.
10. Work with the Chargeback team to resolve root causes of issues.
11. Respond promptly to changing customer needs.
12. Conduct weekly meetings with 3PL partners to review inbound deliveries, sales forecasts, SLA compliance, and chargebacks.
13. Participate in projects such as 3rd-party startups, temporary DCs, and alternative distribution modes, including product transfers, onboarding, and supply procurement.

Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years of relevant experience managing a team in distribution.
• Experience with 3PL operations is a plus.
• Apparel industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to perform accurate inventory counts and basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Knowledge of process flow problems and solutions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with team members and management.
