Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Senior Operations Management Trainee to join our accelerated leadership program. You will rotate through plasma centers nationwide, developing operations, people leadership, and process improvement skills while traveling up to 95% of the time.

Upon program completion, you’ll transition to a Plasma Center Operations Manager role and relocate to one of BioLife’s locations. A strong track record in leading large teams is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience leading medium to large teams (20+ direct reports)
• Travel up to 90–100% during the Trainee Program
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift
• Willingness to travel and work at BioLife locations nationwide
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Have a valid driver’s license for the duration of the program
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, reach above shoulders and below knees
• Lift up to 5 lbs, occasionally up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs
• Fine motor coordination and depth perception
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens (glove wear for most tasks)

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team across multiple plasma centers
• Participate in and complete six‑month training with a 12‑month window to Plasma Center Manager
• Support staffing, performance reviews, and staff development
• Provide operational support and problem‑solving in a fast‑paced environment
• Contribute to onboarding new centers and expansion efforts
