Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Senior Operations Management Trainee to join an accelerated leadership development program that will rotate you through our plasma centers nationwide. You’ll travel up to 95% during the trainee period and gain hands‑on experience in operations leadership, with relocation to a final Plasma Center Operations Manager role.

Qualifications

• Relocation required after trainee program completion.
• 3–5 years of experience leading medium to large teams (20+ direct reports).
• Up to 90–100% travel during the Trainee Program.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Willingness to travel and work at various BioLife locations across the country.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Have a valid driver’s license for the entire duration of the program.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Expedited six‑month training; 12 months to obtain a Plasma Center Manager position with hands‑on experience and mentorship.
• Lead a diverse team; provide feedback, conduct performance reviews, and support staff development and recruitment.
• Progress toward Plasma Center Operations Manager by completing the training program and building cross‑site relationships.
• Work in a fast‑paced team environment offering operational support and problem solving; communicate with senior management.
• Retain donors by delivering exceptional donor service and may assist with production.
• Travel to BioLife centers nationwide to learn and network; return home on weekends when possible.
