Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Senior Operations Management Trainee to develop leadership skills in plasma center operations. The program includes hands-on management experience and mentorship across BioLife centers nationwide, with a clear path to a Plasma Center Operations Manager role.

Participants will travel extensively and relocate after program completion, gaining exposure to high-volume facilities and regulation-driven operations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience leading medium to large teams (20+ direct reports).
• Up to 90-100% travel during the Trainee Program.
• Relocation required upon graduation/completion of Trainee Program.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Willingness to travel and work at various BioLife locations across the country.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Have a valid driver’s license for the entire duration of the program.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership development and manage teams during the Trainee Program.
• Support and participate in staff planning, recruiting, and employee development.
• Progress toward Plasma Center Operations Manager role through training and networking.
• Collaborate with senior management to ensure smooth center operations.
• Support donor retention and production activities as needed.
• Travel to BioLife centers nationwide to gain experience.
