Job summary

ATI Specialty Rolled Products in the United States seeks a General Manager, Primary Operations to lead melting and hot rolling with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, reliability, and productivity. You will set an operational strategy aligned with SRP and ATI objectives, drive Lean-based continuous improvement, and develop a high-performing leadership team across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 10 years of technical metallurgical melting experience.
• Experience leading melting and primary operations in a metals/manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Primary Operations (melting and hot rolling) with safety, quality, reliability, and productivity accountability.
• Set and execute the operational strategy aligned with SRP and ATI objectives.
• Champion a world-class safety culture across all levels of the organization.
• Drive continuous improvement, right-first-time quality, and Lean initiatives.
• Develop talent and coach leaders to build a strong leadership pipeline.
• Improve equipment reliability and asset utilization to raise uptime.
• Align S&OP with Commercial, Supply Chain, Technology, and Finance functions.
• Lead change and build a culture of accountability and ownership.
