Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Team Leader for our Durham, NC facility. The role supports daily lab operations, reporting, and staff development.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s in a chemical/ biological science or medical technology, 4+ years of lab testing, and experience with lab automation and NGS. Proficiency with Excel/Adobe is required; ASCP/AMT certifications preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
4+ years of clinical laboratory testing experience.
Experience with lab automation and NGS.
Proficiency with computing and internet tools, including Excel and Adobe.

Responsibilities

Assist the supervisor with day-to-day operations of the Department/Lab.
Send daily/weekly/monthly production reports to management.
Assist with training of new hires and development of current staff.
Monitor group progress, performance, and issues affecting responsibilities.
Determine acceptability of specimens for testing per criteria.
Perform routine and complex procedures according to SOPs.
