Job summary

Wesco in Alsip, IL (on-site) seeks a Senior Manager – Operations to lead a diverse team of Operations Associates, Drivers, and Administrative Coordinators, ensuring on-time order fulfillment and exceptional customer service.

You will monitor KPIs, collaborate with Sales and other departments, manage unionized staff, and drive Lean improvements while maintaining safe, compliant operations. Location: 11614 S. Austin Ave, Alsip, IL 60803. Full-time schedule with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 7+ years of operations experience, preferably in distribution center facilities.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint).
• Experience managing a team or group of individual contributors and/or supervising staff.
• Ability to travel 0–25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of the location(s) to include on-time order fulfillment and shipping, and inventory management.
• Oversees multiple locations and provides leadership to a diverse team.
• Maintains a safe, secure and inclusive workplace and coaches staff.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and audit standards.
• Manages expense-based P&L and drives Lean improvements.
