Job summary

Aramark, serving education clients, seeks a General Manager to plan and lead multiple contracted services for a client typically generating $2-15M in revenue. You will supervise operations across food service, facility support, and related services, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction while aligning with Aramark's standards.

You will build and mentor a strong management team, manage budgets with financial controls, and foster partnerships with clients and community stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management preferred.
• Strong focus on client services, entrepreneurship, and business growth.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with clients and senior management.
• Experience managing budgets, financial controls, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team delivering contracted services with hands-on operations.
• Manage client and community relationships at the site to optimize service and satisfaction.
• Build and mentor a management team capable of achieving objectives.
• Recommend improvements based on operational needs and contract terms.
• Partner with Finance to manage budgets and improve financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and maintain records.
• Uphold Aramark standards and safety policies in all activities.
