Job summary

Simon Property Group is seeking an Assistant Director, Operations for Livermore, CA. The role focuses on capital planning, safety compliance, and asset maintenance across the San Francisco Premium Outlets campus.

You will lead procurement, manage budgets, and supervise daily operations to keep facilities safe and efficient. The ideal candidate has a related degree, 3+ years of maintenance experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with tenants and authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum three years of facility/maintenance operations experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, CAD drawings, and other schematics.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related property programs.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist development of a 5-year capital plan for the property.
• Ensure safety systems are up to code, maintained and inspected.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, and capital projects to sustain operations.
• Manage procurement within CAM and capital budgets.
• Coordinate with tenants and stakeholders; support Manager-on-Duty duties.
