Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum three years of facility/maintenance operations experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, CAD drawings and other schematics.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with flexibility.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop a 5-year capital plan for the property assets and execute against projected capital plans.
• Ensure safety systems are up to code, maintained and inspected.
• Conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure assets are in best possible operating condition.
• Respond rapidly to operational issues uncovered in property inspections.
• Assist in procurement and application of goods and services within CAM and Capital Expenditure budgets.
• Coordinate with Operations Director to manage Property Operating expenses within or below budget levels.
• Oversee capital projects: scope of work, RFPs, bids, service agreements, inspections, and close-out documentation.
• Monitor cleaning services provided through contracts requiring rigorous oversight.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and construction work to sustain safe, reliable operation
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Support tenants under construction ensuring plan compliance and timely openings.
