Community Mental Health Affiliates, Inc. (CMHA) is seeking a Senior Operating Officer for its Center Administration in New Britain, CT. The role directs operations, oversees HEDIS activities, and collaborates on strategic planning and program development to meet evolving needs.

The candidate will lead performance improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage external relations including branding and grants opportunities. Requires robust leadership and policy acumen.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of experience in behavioral health with leadership roles.
• Five (5) years of management experience within a behavioral health agency.
• Five (5) years in program development and outcomes/quality management at leadership level.
• At least three (3) years in external relations arena.
• MS Office proficiency; EMR system experience for data gathering.

Responsabilités

• Lead strategic planning with agency leadership to translate plans into new programs and initiatives.
• Oversee performance improvement, outcome measurement, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive Lean Six Sigma projects across program areas to improve quality of services.
• Develop new program initiatives and pursue grants or fee-for-service opportunities.
• Coordinate external relations, branding, marketing, and community partnerships.
