Job summary

Crown Health Care Laundry Services, LLC in Bishopville, SC seeks an Assistant General Manager to direct all elements of linen production, from scheduling and HR to equipment maintenance and safety compliance.

You will oversee union and non-union workforce, manage service quality, and partner with the sales team to meet regional goals while controlling costs and ensuring on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years experience in a production leadership role, preferably in the linen industry.
• Exceptional leadership skills – able to work with and communicate with all levels of employee
• Good computer skills
• Solid analytical abilities
• Good financial skills
• Creative problem solving abilities
• Consistent and temperate professional demeanor
• Prefer experience in a union environment
• Prefer prior experience managing a route force.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production leadership and safety, directing daily linen operations.
• Manage HR resources including recruitment, development and retention of staff.
• Oversee equipment resources and PMs to minimize downtime and optimize maintenance.
• Oversee service function to meet customer needs and maintain relationships.
• Communicate with Home Office and adapt to company policies.
