Job summary

Crown Linen, LLC is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to lead high-volume laundry operations with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. You will support the Production Manager, coach staff, and ensure standards across receiving, washing, and distribution.

This role requires a hands-on leader capable of driving PPOH improvements and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in supervisory roles in laundry or manufacturing, strong cost-awareness, and bilingual

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in laundry, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution.
• Strong understanding of production metrics (PPOH) and cost control.
• Experience in high-volume, time-sensitive environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee laundry operations across receiving, sorting, washing, folding, and distribution.
• Support the Production Manager and resolve workflow or personnel issues promptly.
• Monitor labor, productivity, and cost metrics; report KPIs and logs.
• Train, coach, and develop staff on production methods and safety procedures.
• Assist in hiring, training, reviews, and disciplinary processes.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and safety standards; promote engagement and accountability.

This leadership role reports to the Production Manager and is critical in ensuring smooth, high-volume production in a clean, fast-paced environment.
