Qualifications

• Experience supervising laundry staff and coordinating schedules.
• Ability to train associates on safety standards and chemical handling.
• Strong inventory management for linen and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of service to the guest at all times and anticipate and exceed guest expectations.
• Supervise Laundry staff; complete schedule and adjust staffing to meet service levels.
• Assign specific duties to staff for efficient operation.
• Oversee department in absence of Department Manager.
• Complete supply inventories and ordering; oversee linen inventory.
• Ensure associates wear gloves and follow safety standards.
• Train associates on safety standards and chemical handling; assist in interviewing and hiring.
• Promote teamwork and morale; communicate with guests, associates and managers.
• Maintain a clean and safe laundry area; follow energy conservation practices.
