Job summary

SUNY Oneonta's Extended and Community Learning Center seeks an Associate Director of Operations to oversee daily operations, enrollment management, non-degree admissions, and program coordination for the ExCL Center.

Reporting to the Director, you will supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with Deans, faculty, and campus partners to support College in High School programming and visiting students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5 years of experience in higher education administration, admissions, enrollment management, registrar operations, or continuing education administration.
• Experience with student management systems and operations, student services, program coordination, and supervision.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience with Banner in a professional environment.
• Working knowledge of FERPA and academic records compliance.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures, compliance, and enrollment management practices.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing enrollment, registration, and student management operations for the ExCL Center, including student information and student management systems (SLATE, BANNER).
• Administering non-degree admissions, application processing, registration activities, and payment procedures.
• Overseeing course section creation and enrollment activities in BANNER; managing day-to-day operations for College in High School dual enrollment programming.
• Serving as primary advisor for non-degree students, supporting orientation, progress monitoring, retention, and customer service.
• Developing and maintaining documentation, procedures, and workflows; ensuring compliance with policies and accreditation standards.
