Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated is seeking a Senior Operations Finance Manager to lead the financial oversight of construction operations across a regional portfolio. You will partner with operations leaders to drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial initiatives.

You will manage regional finance staff, coordinate analysis, ensure strong internal controls, and support SOX compliance. A CPA or equivalent designation is a plus, with MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting or related field.
• 7+ years work experience in operations finance.
• 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Experience in heavy-civil construction or construction materials is a plus.
• Experience with JD Edwards/Oracle e1 or similar ERP system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial guidance to construction operations leaders.
• Oversee Region/Division Operational Finance Managers and staff for compliant financial support.
• Coordinate consolidation of financial analysis (revenue, gross profit, margin, SG&A, cash flow).
• Assist in developing short- and long-term operational plans and forecasts.
• Maintain internal controls to minimize risk and support SOX compliance.
