Job summary

Chinese Mutual Aid Association (CMAA) is seeking a Senior Coordinator of Operations to ensure organizational effectiveness through facilities maintenance, program analyses, and operations. You will work with the Executive Director and Operations Supervisor to implement policies and drive efficiency across departments.

The role involves risk management, program analysis, and collaboration with the Board of Directors, IT, and outside vendors, with onsite responsibilities in Chicago's CMAA

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in project coordination.
• Degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering or technical discipline.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, monday.com and Salesforce.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of government contract management and nonprofit operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate office administration per annual work plan and policies.
• Provide administrative support to Executive Director and board of directors.
• Prepare agendas/reports for leadership and directors.
• Maintain filing systems and submit expense reports.
• Oversee repairs & maintenance orders and facilities reports.
• Support IT, Finance, HR improvements and cross-functional coordination.
• Drive operational excellence and contribute to organizational strategies.
• Assist Development and Communications staff for special visits/events.
