Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Lead Operations Delivery Manager to drive end-to-end execution of complex programs across functions and sites in a regulated medical device environment. You will act as the primary operations point of accountability, aligning strategy, priorities, resources, and timelines to support product availability, compliance, supply continuity, cost, and quality.

This role requires leading cross-functional initiatives, managing risks and budgets, and communicating with executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; or associate degree plus 2 years; or high school diploma/GED plus 4 years related experience.
• 8+ years of experience in Operations, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
• Proven experience leading projects/teams in a matrixed organization.
• 3+ years in biotech manufacturing with cGMP, FDA-regulated, ISO 13485, and LDT environments.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, SharePoint).
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional and multi-site Operations programs with clear accountability for scope, milestones, execution, and outcomes.
• Align Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, manufacturing, and other functions to support availability, lifecycle, continuity, cost, quality, and service.
• Drive major change initiatives including new product introductions and ERP/planning-system implementations.
• Identify and manage cross-functional risks, dependencies, budgets, and trade-offs with structured decision-making.
• Establish governance structures, cadences, and dashboards for program health and leadership visibility.
• Lead through influence in a matrixed organization to ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement.
