Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Project Manager to serve as liaison between project owners, teams and management, ensuring open communication of achievements and issues. The role drives process improvements and may act as Project Owner for select portfolios, balancing scope, budget and quality to optimize portfolio value.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional activities across R&D, Operations, Regulatory, Quality and Commercial, monitor IBP reporting, and deliver timely business updates to Sr.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in product development, project management and/or business process implementation.
• PMP Certification.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor and improve business processes in support of Project Management, IBP and sub-processes.
• Demonstrate stewardship and provide project leadership to meet Division strategy and business objectives.
• Coordinate activities from R&D, Operations, Regulatory, Quality and Commercial for product-related projects.
• Act as a point of contact for IBP process reporting and updates.
• Facilitate project through the PM and IBP process; ensure cross-functional alignment.
• Resolve project data integrity and conflicts and provide updates on risks and decisions.
