Job summary

itD is seeking an Operations Coordinator III for a fully onsite role in Redmond, WA. The position focuses on day-to-day operational execution for a collaborative audio research team supporting Reality Labs’ AR/VR work. Requires 5+ years of hands-on operations experience and strong communication across teams.

Contract duration is approximately 6 months, with potential extension. Pay up to $28.08 per hour, benefits include medical, 401(k), and holidays.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional operations experience.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication across organizational levels.
• Hands-on operational execution including logistics/onboarding/offboarding.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments and escalate when needed.
• Willingness to perform hands-on, physical, repetitive tasks.
• Experience in fast-paced research, hardware, or product-development environments.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding and offboarding activities including access, orientation, and equipment coordination.
• Execute and streamline day-to-day operational processes under time pressure.
• Coordinate lab, equipment, and facility logistics and setup.
• Maintain information-sharing platforms, trackers and repositories.
• Monitor operational activities, identify issues and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate team events, logistics, and communications.
• Develop lightweight tools, processes, and documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
