Clēnera, LLC seeks a Sr. Operations Specialist to lead performance, reliability, and operational readiness for its solar and battery energy storage portfolio in Boise.

The role oversees reporting, warranty programs, inventory governance, and cross-functional coordination to improve asset lifecycle outcomes. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in renewable energy operations, asset management, or related fields, with strong data analytics, inventory, and vendor-management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in engineering, operations management, business, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in renewable energy operations, asset management, maintenance planning, project coordination, data analysis, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn company-specific software programs, tools, processes, and machines.
• Strong understanding of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage operations, maintenance practices, warranties, and equipment lifecycle management.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to develop meaningful reports, dashboards, and operational insights.
• Knowledge of inventory management, spare parts strategy, budget planning, contracts, procurement coordination, and warranty administration.
• Ability to manage cross-functional projects and operational initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills with ability to present technical and operational information to diverse stakeholders.
• Self-motivated to work through complex problems and competing priorities, including a high level of detail and organization.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain portfolio reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics to support reporting requirements.
• Analyze operational, maintenance, and equipment performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that improve asset reliability.
• Manage portfolio-level spare parts and inventory programs, including stocking strategies, replenishment planning, inventory tracking.
• Administer equipment warranty programs, including claim coordination, vendor communication, recovery tracking, documentation management, and asset record maintenance.
• Support reliability and asset health initiatives through equipment performance monitoring, failure trend analysis, root cause investigations, and lifecycle planning recommendations.
• Assist with operational budgeting, major maintenance forecasting, warranty recovery tracking, lifecycle replacement planning, and BESS augmentation forecasting.
• Track and evaluate contractor, OEM, and O&M provider performance, contractual obligations, service commitments, and key deliverables.
• Lead operational coordination for BESS augmentation projects, including outage planning, schedule and budget tracking, risk management, turnover activities, and integration into long-term operations.
• Maintain operational records, procedures, equipment databases, controlled documentation, and governance practices to support compliance and operational readiness.
• Support commercial and administrative activities, including invoice approvals, purchase order tracking, vendor coordination, meeting administration, and process improvement initiatives.
• Develop and improve portfolio operations processes, reporting methodologies, data governance standards, and automation solutions that enhance efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
• Collaborate with individual department, as well as cross-functionally with other departments within the organization.
• Maintain organizational excellence in terms of project timelines and deliverables.
