Job summary

East West Bank is seeking an Operational Risk Senior Manager within the Enterprise Risk Management function in Pasadena, CA. The role reports to the Deputy Chief Risk Officer and serves as a resource to the first and second lines of defense, developing risk governance and reporting for leadership and the Board.

You will lead risk programs, KRIs, and loss analysis, coordinate risk-related projects, and provide guidance on regulatory compliance while advancing risk governance across the bank.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of work experience in risk management, operational risk, Internal Audit or External Audit focusing on risk management, compliance, regulations

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement major operational risk programs, policies, and procedures
• Manage RCSA policy including requirements, scope, and activities
• Maintain documentation and reports to management with recommendations
• Monitor fraud risk controls and programs to prevent losses
• Lead operational loss scenarios testing to ensure resiliency
• Provide information to executive management, Board and regulators
• Perform quantitative analyses and justify ERM conclusions
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations
