Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks an Operational Risk Review (ORR) Analyst to execute reviews, validate issues, and lead data-focused activities within the Independent Risk Review and Assessment function.

The role spans multiple locations, supporting risk-based reviews and remediation across business lines and enablement functions. You will develop audit-ready workpapers, analyze processes and controls, and partner with stakeholders to provide effective challenge of risk practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• More than five years of applicable experience.
• Knowledge of operational risk, controls, and issue remediation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute portions of operational risk reviews and issue validations.
• Evaluate processes, controls, and data to support risk conclusions.
• Support issue validation through remediation evidence.
• Prepare audit-ready workpapers and supporting materials.
• Develop data outputs to identify trends and risks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to obtain information and challenge risk practices.
• Escalate significant risks to leadership.
• Summarize progress and next steps in written and verbal updates.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
