Job summary

Voya Financial, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst in Operational Risk Management to support the Workplace Solutions/Benefitfocus ORM program.

You will help identify, classify, measure, and monitor operational risks, coordinating with ORM, Risk Management, and business units to provide leadership with accurate risk views and actionable recommendations. You will partner with teams to remediate risks, document progress in Voya’s GRC tool, and present risk findings while promoting a culture of risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Operational Risk Management.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Health and Wealth (Benefit Administration) organizations with ORM exposure.
• Experience with risk assessments, risk decision making, and implementation of controls.
• Strong problem solving, decision making and facilitation skills.
• Ability to analyze and leverage data to perform research and draw conclusions.
• Ability to create high quality work products.
• Proactive communication and process improvement mindset.
• Ability to build relationships with Sr. Leaders.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of a robust ORM strategy, framework and policies.
• Remediate identified risks in a timely manner and document progress in the GRC tool.
• Identify, assess, measure, mitigate, monitor, and report operational risk using KRIs, scenario analysis, risk committee materials, and monthly risk reports.
• Promote risk culture and conduct risk awareness training.
• Collaborate with internal audit, compliance, privacy, IT ORM, and other teams for holistic risk view.
• Provide independent risk assessments and challenge residual risk levels.
• Assist in developing risk management strategies and prioritizing activities.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual processing.
