Job summary

Old National Bank is seeking an ORM Senior Analyst to join the Second Line of Defense and lead complex operational risk activities. You will drive risk assessments, challenge First Line practices, translate data into actionable insights, and contribute to the ORM framework to strengthen risk governance.

You will collaborate with multiple lines of business, document assessment results, and support regulatory exams while promoting independent risk analysis and effective issue remediation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; operational risk, enterprise risk, audit, compliance, or banking-related certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in operational risk management, internal audit, compliance, enterprise risk management, or a related risk function, preferably within financial services.
• Strong understanding of regulatory expectations, operational risk frameworks, and effective Second Line oversight practices, including credible challenge, risk governance, and control effectiveness.
• Experience leading or materially supporting RCSAs, control testing, and issue management activities.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute and support enhancements to core ORM programs, including RCSAs, Operational Loss Event Management, Control Monitoring and Testing, and Issue Management.
• Collaborate with First Line business groups to assess operational risk considerations and promote consistent ORM practices.
• Apply Second Line challenge to risk identification, control design, and remediation plans.
• Perform independent validation of issue remediation to confirm effectiveness and outcomes.
• Monitor ORM issues and ensure timely remediation and escalation when needed.
• Prepare risk reports and dashboards for management and governance forums.
