Transamerica seeks a Director of ORM Methodology and Reporting to lead the design, standardization, and deployment of operational risk practices across the enterprise. You will translate risk insights for senior leadership and the Board, and embed risk thinking into major initiatives through strong partnership with business leaders and committees.

This hybrid role emphasizes policy, governance, and cross-functional collaboration, with exposure to risk strategy and reporting at the enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field.
• 12+ years of experience in operational risk management or internal controls.
• Proven leadership in risk management, internal controls, audit, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of risk management principles, processes, and metrics.
• Ability to present to senior leadership and boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead ORM methodology and standards development across the enterprise.
• Own and evolve risk policy, framework, and methodologies (RCSA/PRA, scenario analysis, KRIs).
• Develop enterprise and function-level risk reporting and dashboards.
• Translate risk information into clear narratives for decision-makers.
• Advise Risk leadership and oversee risk issue management and reporting.
• Embed ORM into major business and technology initiatives.
• Provide second-line challenge to process design and control effectiveness.
• Maintain adherence to Global ORM policy and framework.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and ORM counterparts.
