Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Senior Operational Business Analyst to deliver financial and operational insights within a distribution center environment. You will influence leaders, improve processes, and contribute to profitability with rigorous analysis.

You will partner with accounting, finance, and operations to drive month-end close, labor analytics, and cost controls, while supporting billing and vendor contracts with data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or 4 years equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years experience in Finance or Accounting.
• Logistics industry experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of P&L and balance sheet and accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for Accounting and Finance activities including month-end close, payroll, receivables and payables.
• Support operational metrics such as warehouse productivity, labor efficiency, throughput reporting and analysis.
• Interact with customers on billing, strategy and budgets.
• Audit vendor payables and ensure proper approvals for payments.
• Provide Kronos application support and hourly activity reporting.
• Prepare month-end close accruals and reclass journal entries.
• Support accounts receivable, accounts payable and PO reconciliation.
