Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Senior Operational Business Analyst to provide financial and operational insight to enhance performance in a distribution center environment.

The role delivers analytical support for accounting, payroll, receivables, payables and warehouse productivity, partnering with site leaders to influence budgets, KPIs and continuous improvement, while ensuring accurate reporting and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance field or 4 years equivalent work experience, required.
• 3+ years experience in Finance or Accounting, required.
• Logistics industry experience, preferred.
• Working knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles, preferred.
• Advanced accounting knowledge: P&L and balance sheet.
• Effective communication skills; verbal & written.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels; team player.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and time management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Advanced financial skillset; budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
• Ability to influence business decisions with peers.
• Effective project and time management.
• Willingness to travel.
• Advanced PC skill proficiency in MS Office; Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for Accounting and Finance activities (month end close, payroll, receivables, payables).
• Support operational activities like warehouse productivity, labor efficiency, throughput reporting and analysis.
• Lead discussions with customers on billing, strategy, and budgets.
• Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and reconciliation of purchase orders.
• Provide Kronos-related setup support for accurate hourly activity reporting.
• Collaborate with Finance and HR on daily activities and reporting.
• Prepare month-end close accruals and reclass journal entries.
• Ensure information requested by external customers is accurate and timely.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and performance measurements.
