Job summary

AMD is seeking a highly technical Solution Engineering Leader to accelerate the integration of AMD hardware and software into open ecosystems. You’ll define production-grade reference architectures, create reusable components, and drive customer proof-of-concepts across CPUs, GPUs, DPUs, networking, memory, and accelerators.

You will lead collaborations with Linux kernel communities, upstream developers, and enterprise customers to improve interoperability, performance, and end-to-end

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in heterogeneous computing across CPUs, GPUs, DPUs, memory subsystems.
• Strong Linux kernel, driver, and system-call knowledge.
• Experience designing stable REST/gRPC APIs and SDKs for open ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute AMD's solution engineering strategy for open ecosystems.
• Drive upstream collaboration across Linux kernels, drivers, firmware, libraries, containers, and observability tools.
• Optimize databases and data platforms on AMD systems for performance and scale.
• Develop MCP servers, connectors, and reference patterns for enterprise integrations.
• Collaborate with customers, hyperscalers, OEMs, ISVs, and open-source communities.
