Job summary

AMD is seeking a highly technical Solution Engineering leader to accelerate integration of AMD hardware and software across open ecosystems. You will define reference architectures, upstream integrations, and production-oriented components spanning CPUs, GPUs, DPUs, and software stacks.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Linux ecosystems, cloud-native environments, and enterprise customers, with a focus on performance, security, and developer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering systems software in enterprise, cloud, or data-center environments.
• Deep knowledge of Linux kernel architecture, drivers, and memory management.
• Strong programming in C/C++, Python, Go, or Rust; open-source contributions valued.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute solution engineering strategy for AMD platforms.
• Drive upstream collaboration across Linux kernels, drivers, runtimes, and containers.
• Design stable APIs and MCP patterns for tooling and integration.
• Support AMD+A+A and AMD+A+N deployment models for interoperability.
• Collaborate with customers, hyperscalers, OEMs, ISVs, and open-source communities.
