Job summary

Philips in the United States is seeking an AI Clinical Solutions Engineer for the Azurion Eye program, stationed at a partner hospital in Asheville, NC or Nashville, TN with onsite work five days a week.

You will translate clinical needs into AI-enabled imaging solutions, validate workflows in real-world settings, and collaborate with clinicians, product teams and AI engineers to improve workflows, decision-making and patient safety in Cath Lab environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing software-based healthcare or medical technology solutions with a Master’s degree or PhD.
• Experience with AI-enabled healthcare products and direct clinician collaboration; knowledge of image-guided therapy, interventional cardiology, or related clinical domains; experience developing regulated SaMD/SaNMD products under FDA Design Controls.
• Master's Degree or PhD in Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science, Econometrics, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Identify clinical challenges and translate them into AI-enabled product opportunities and requirements, deploying and evaluating AI capabilities in clinical environments.
• Collaborate with Product Management and R&D to accelerate learning cycles and drive product enhancements with clinician input.
• Support prototype deployments, software validation, and integration into hospital IT environments; liaison across AI, Clinical Science, Engineering, UX, Quality, and Regulatory.
