Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a Senior Resident Project Representative to lead on-site construction observation and documentation for high‑quality projects. You will ensure work conforms to plans, specs, and standards, coordinating with the project team and subcontractors.

Preferred qualifications include an EIT/PE, data center experience, and strong communication skills. Willingness to travel and work at client locations is expected. This role is in Texas and supports HDR's employee‑owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or relevant field.
• 10 years of multidisciplinary construction experience on complex projects.
• Fundamental understanding of contracts, codes and laws governing construction.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site construction observation and documentation.
• Maintain daily records of activity, labor, equipment and materials.
• Review materials for contract compliance and track quantities.
• Attend construction progress meetings and coordinate with teams.
• Develop record documentation for engineer review and project closeout.
