Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Resident Project Representative to join our Building Engineering Services team in Texas. You will provide on-site construction observation, documentation, quality oversight, and coordination to ensure conformance with plans, specs, and standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, tracking progress, generating pay estimates, and leading junior staff. Travel to client sites is expected, with strong communication and problem-solving skills essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction tech, or equivalent experience.
• Strong reading of drawings/specifications and contract knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork.
• Ability to travel and work onsite at client locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and specs, identify discrepancies.
• Maintain daily records of contractor activities, labor, and materials.
• Review materials for contract compliance and develop pay estimates.
• Attend and chair progress meetings and coordinate with team.
• Observe installation and commissioning tests of equipment/systems.
