Wiers Fleet Partners in Pontiac, MI is seeking a Master Onsite Mobile Fleet Service Diesel Technician. The role focuses on on-site diagnostics, complex repairs, and maintenance of heavy-duty diesel engines at customer locations, while mentoring junior technicians.

The position requires extensive experience with Cummins, Detroit, PACCAR, Volvo and Mack engines, and strong leadership to coordinate field service calls and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Extensive experience with on-site diagnostics, repairs and maintenance of diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to mentor technicians and provide technical guidance in field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems in field environments.
• Perform comprehensive repairs and installations of trucks, engines, and components at customer locations.
• Coordinate with dispatch and customers to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Operate diagnostic equipment proficiently in various field conditions.
• Provide technical guidance and triage to determine optimal solutions for customer needs.
