The role is onsite 5 days a week and involves installing, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading hardware to ensure optimal workstation performance. Responsibilities include handling calls about PC problems, prioritizing service requests, diagnosing complex PC issues, maintaining IT asset inventory, and supporting IT projects and disaster recovery

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in business administration, MIS, mathematics, IT, CS or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting and support principles, methods, and techniques.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain in-house computer systems, desktops, and peripherals; install, diagnose, repair, and upgrade hardware.
• Receive and respond to calls, pages, and emails regarding PC and hardware problems.
• Evaluate, prioritize and respond to service requests with a resolution.
• Diagnose complex PC problems and implement solutions for end users.
• Install, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot workstation software/hardware and networking products.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets including repair history.
• Develop and maintain custom configurations across platforms and OS.
• Manage desktop environment issues, report metrics to management.
• Coordinate PC upgrades, repairs, and improvements with users.
• Support IT projects, ensure procedures for logging and reporting PC performance.
