Job summary

Diversified is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer – Electronic Security to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex ESS systems onsite. You will support service operations, maintain system performance, and coordinate with clients, service teams, and installation crews across corporate offices, data centers, and events.

The role requires hands-on expertise with security platforms, networking, and project leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience installing and supporting enterprise-level security systems, including card access, CCTV, CATV, and intrusion detection.
• Industry‑recognized certifications in access control or video management systems (e.g., Lenel, Milestone, CCure 9000, DMP, Honeywell)
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-level networking and IP-based ESS architectures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and break/fix repairs across access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
• Act as the primary technical escalation point, delivering advanced diagnostics, fault isolation, and root cause analysis.
• Maintain and optimize ESS system performance, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Lead small-scale service projects and system upgrades, coordinating schedules and technical resources.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring system readiness and reliability.
• Diagnose, repair, test, and validate ESS components and systems, ensuring safe and accurate implementation.
• Collaborate with manufacturers, engineers, and project teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain IP-based security systems and networked devices.
• Maintain accurate service records, including ticket updates, reporting, and documentation from issue to resolution.
• Support end users with system access, troubleshooting, and operational guidance.
• Act as an onsite liaison, ensuring clear communication between clients, stakeholders, and Diversified teams.
• Support live environments and event spaces where ESS systems are required to operate reliably.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and service delivery.
