Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions, headquartered in Chandler, AZ, is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Specialist to protect our systems and networks from cyber threats. The role involves identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security controls, and promptly responding to incidents across a hybrid enterprise and cloud environments.

The successful candidate will have strong cyber security knowledge, cloud experience (AWS/Azure), and proficiency in scripting for automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of experience, skills, and education.
• Two (2) or more years’ experience as a cyber security engineer, system administrator, or system/cloud engineer.
• Experience with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, ISO).
• Proficiency with scripting for task automation (Python, PowerShell, bash, Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Assess, enhance, and design security architecture needs at scale in a complex environment.
• Plan and implement enterprise security solutions for hybrid environments.
• Review and validate detected vulnerabilities and risks to the enterprise.
• Respond to security breaches and incidents, by supporting less tenured personnel.
• Develop and present cyber security metrics for the assigned area.
