Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to protect our organization from cyber threats and ensure compliance with industry standards. This on-site role in Chandler integrates with IT and product teams to monitor, analyze, and respond to incidents.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in threat monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management, with experience using SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years equivalent combination of experience in related field.
• Entry level cyber security certification preferred (Security+, CEH, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Threat Monitoring and Analysis: monitor network traffic, logs, and security alerts to identify threats.
• Incident Response: investigate alerts, data breaches, and network intrusions; execute response tasks.
• Vulnerability Management: review assessments to identify and mitigate weaknesses.
• Reporting and Documentation: create cyber security tickets and contribute to management reports and audits.
• Security Tools Operations: input to SOPs to improve tool productivity and operations.
