Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions seeks a Senior Cyber Security Specialist to protect its systems and networks from cyber threats. You will identify vulnerabilities, implement security controls, and respond to incidents.

The role requires strong knowledge of security practices and experience with security technologies and program areas. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of related experience, with professional certifications (CISSP, CEH, CISM) considered highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of related experience.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH or CISM are highly desirable.
• Experience as a cyber security engineer or system administrator is desired.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate detected cyber security incidents and risks.
• Determine operational impacts of cyber security control failures.
• Develop, track, and present cyber security metrics for assigned area.
• Respond to security breaches and incidents, by supporting less tenured personnel.
• Communicate business impacts and remediation steps to decision makers.
• Develop and approve changes to cyber security procedures and systems.
• Apply knowledge of latest cyber security trends and threats to prevent risk.
• Provide input to enterprise resiliency, disaster recovery and business continuity.
