Job summary

Lockstep Technology Group is seeking an AV & Mass Communications Technician to install, configure, and troubleshoot audiovisual and mass communications systems at client sites.

You will deliver reliable technology experiences by completing quality installations, resolving issues, and communicating clearly with lead technicians, clients, and project teams; 65% travel is required, with a focus on safe, professional on-site service.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience with computer deployments or large-scale tech rollouts (AV-focused).
• Hands-on familiarity with AV systems and displays, video conferencing, signage and related tech.
• Familiarity with HDMI, USB, Ethernet, patch cables and related connectivity concepts.
• Comfort using power tools and basic installation terminology.

Responsibilities

• Onsite installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of AV and mass communications equipment.
• Support interactive displays, digital signage, classroom sound, video conferencing, projectors, paging, intercom systems.
• Maintain inventories and organize materials for onsite work.
• Coordinate with lead technicians to execute installations and provide progress updates.
• Identify and resolve installation issues and ensure quality standards.
