Job summary

Howard Technology Solutions is seeking a Senior AV Technician to install, configure, and troubleshoot audiovisual systems across corporate, educational, and event settings. The role requires heavy on-site work, leadership of installation teams, and frequent travel to client sites in northern Louisiana.

Responsibilities include overseeing project deployments, mentoring junior technicians, and ensuring adherence to AV industry standards while delivering exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial AV installation and troubleshooting.
• Extensive experience with AV control systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron).
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and work on-site at various venues.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test AV equipment such as projectors, displays, sound systems, control systems, and video conferencing solutions.
• Set up and calibrate AV systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Lead AV installation projects with technicians and coordinate with site managers to meet deadlines.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, wiring changes, and installation notes.
