Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Training Manager, Oncology, to develop and deliver Oncology/Hematology training for Franchise A, supporting Imbruvica or Epkinly. You will work with global trainers and co-promote partners to build training on disease knowledge, sales effectiveness, market insights, and operations for the Commercial organization.

Key responsibilities include creating and updating curricula, collaborating with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Medical teams, and driving vendor

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience.
• Training, Marketing or Sales experience in pharma/biotech preferred.
• Knowledge of Oncology/Hematology disease areas preferred.
• Experience developing training tools to enhance clinical acumen is a plus.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and training design concepts is a plus.
• Excellent collaboration with internal and external stakeholders at different levels.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain subject matter expertise for disease states, products and therapeutic areas.
• Develop and execute training programs and initiatives with minimal guidance.
• Design and enhance curriculum to meet Commercial org needs.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Medical and Regulatory for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage vendors and contract requirements for training content.
• Lead training meetings including planning, logistics, vendor monitoring, and conduct.
• Partner with Marketing and Sales to align training with brand objectives.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver effective training solutions.
• Build trust with Business Partners through regular interaction and partnerships.
• Support field sales through participation in sales meetings and field rides.
