Job summary

Amgen in Nashville is seeking a Senior Oncology Specialist to act as the primary clinical liaison to medical professionals and deliver current product knowledge for Amgen's oncology portfolio. You will create and execute a comprehensive territory plan, manage accounts and ensure access, and communicate the clinical and economic benefits of our medicines to providers.

This role emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning, and delivering patient-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related.
• OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related.
• OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute a comprehensive territory plan, delivering branded messages, executing programs, and achieving sales targets.
• Manage accounts, ensure product access, resolve/triage reimbursement issues, and maintain contracts.
• Craft an effective marketing strategy to drive sales.
• Analyze business effectiveness of sales activities and territory analysis, and develop territory plans with the District Manager
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and stay curious to grow as a Sr. Oncology Specialist
• Leverage oncology knowledge and market changes to deliver agreed results.
