Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Sr. Clinical Project Manager for a fully remote role focusing on oncology CRO programs.

You will lead global trials from start-up to closeout, ensuring quality, budget adherence, and timely execution while maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in clinical research with 4+ years in PM, a science/health degree, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Extensive CRO project management experience
• Strong oncology project management experience with radiopharmaceuticals, CAR-T or cell therapy preferred
• Minimum 7 years clinical research experience with at least 4 years in direct PM roles
• BA/BS in science or health field; advanced degree preferred (NA/EU)
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnights

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation for assigned clinical study projects, ensuring clear, timely communication with the client.
• Coordinate and oversee all functional services, including external vendors, to meet timelines and budget.
• Manage overall study budget and drive change orders to completion with support as needed.
• Collaborate with clinical operations to support delivery of activities and assume responsibilities as needed for limited-scope projects.
• Oversee project profitability, billable hours, and forecasting to support business objectives.
• Develop robust project plans with timelines and risk management strategies.
• Ensure quality management, including eTMF readiness and CAPAs for findings.
• Collaborate with functions to support program delivery and review study documentation.
• Establish tracking metrics and report progress to clients and senior management.
• Lead internal and client meetings, set expectations, and align on scope and deliverables.
• Communicate protocol/study issues and deviations with clients and management; implement actions.
• Present to diverse audiences and participate in bid defenses with strong presentation skills.
• Provide study-specific training and monitor ongoing training compliance; support business development as needed.
• Perform other duties to support objectives and remain compliant with training and time reporting.
• Mentor team members and demonstrate leadership through escalation handling and influence
