Advocate Health is hiring a Nurse Manager for Oncology at Levine Cancer Institute – Medical Oncology Pineville. The role oversees nursing practice, supports staffing, and ensures compliant, high-quality patient care across shifts in a richly collaborative clinical setting.

Requirements include BSN, NC RN licensure, and at least two years of oncology nursing with leadership experience; BSN enrollment within 1 year for non-BSN holders is expected. Benefits and PTO are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state (North Carolina).
• Minimum two years of Oncology nursing experience preferred.
• Previous management experience required.
• BSN is required.
• RN candidates without BSN must enroll in a BSN program within 1 year and complete within 3 years.
• BLS certification required.
• Professional certification in clinical or leadership within 1 year of eligibility.
• Additional education or experience may be required by the nurse leader.

Responsabilités

• Supports the manager utilizing systematic approaches to enhance nursing practice, nursing service administration and delivery of care in the department.
• Assists with interview, selection, and supervision of nursing personnel in the department.
• Assists with coordination of communications at regular intervals throughout shifts via staff meetings/huddles.
• Collaborates with manager to ensure understanding and compliance with federal and state laws and policies.
• Rounds on patients, teammates, and physicians to gain insight into care quality and department operations.
• Delegates elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with policy.
• Assists in identifying outcomes to guide continuity of care/operations.
• Assists in evaluating progress toward goals and disseminates information to the care team.
• Performs nursing care, assists with treatments and administers medications as necessary.
• Coordinates patient flow and staffing through assessment of volume and acuity needs.
