Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Senior Clinical Scientist in oncology to oversee scientific integrity and data quality for Late-Stage Oncology programs. You will collaborate with clinical operations, medical directors, and governance bodies to drive strategy and execution of pivotal trials.

The role requires substantial experience in phase 3 oncology trials, regulatory submissions, and strong knowledge of ICH/GCP. It is a hybrid role with on-site work several days a week within the U.S.

Qualifications

• PhD/Pharm D with 2+ years in industry CRO clinical research or MS with 5+ years in industry CRO clinical research or BA/BS with 7+ years in industry CRO clinical research.
• Experience in oncology clinical trial development, solid tumor and/or heme.
• Phase 3/pivotal oncology trial experience; regulatory submissions and inspections desired.
• Excellent knowledge of clinical procedures, ICH guidelines, GCP; familiarity with FDA/EMA/global regs.
• Experience with large data sets; strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific oversight for assigned studies and maintain current knowledge in therapeutic areas.
• Partner with clinical ops, medical colleagues, and governance to execute trials.
• Lead data quality reviews, data review strategy, and data trend analysis; present data to stakeholders.
• Author or contribute to protocols, ICFs, IBs, study reports, and regulatory responses.
• Support health authority interactions and governance meetings.
