Job summary

Rackley Roofing Company, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Commercial Roofing Superintendent to oversee all facets of commercial roofing projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency from start to finish.

You will work closely with owners, general contractors, and field personnel to deliver projects on time and within budget. This leadership role requires proven supervision experience, strong knowledge of roofing systems and safety standards, and excellent organizational and communication skills

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial roofing supervision or a similar construction leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, installation techniques, and safety standards.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, plans, and manufacturer instructions.
• Proficient in documenting project progress and reporting on jobsite conditions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, climbing, lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling as required by the job.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and professional work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all field roofing personnel and oversee daily roofing operations.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company standards.
• Control and monitor job costs related to roofing operations to maximize profitability.
• Coordinate project mobilization, logistics, and demobilization, including site setup and closeout.
• Attend project preconstruction meetings to become familiar with project requirements and expectations.
• Implement site mobilization plans, including storage areas, delivery routes, material distribution, and safety protocols.
• Conduct site inspections to document conditions and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Oversee material storage and protection, ensuring proper environmental conditions.
• Inspect substrates and ensure installation meets specifications and drawings.
• Monitor installation quality, including adhesives, fasteners, lapping, jointing, and thickness.
• Ensure safety equipment is properly installed and maintained, especially in adverse weather.
• Maintain daily housekeeping and site cleanliness standards.
• Prepare and submit detailed daily reports within 24 hours.
• Communicate deficiencies to the Foreman, Project Manager, and Manager of Operations.
• Uphold all company policies and represent Rackley Roofing Company, Inc. professionally.
